What is in my May Ipsy Glam Bag?

I caved.

I finally got a subscription to Ipsy!! I was so excited to receive this first package that I practically ran to the mailbox when I got the email that it had delivered. Let me tell you a little bit about my experience so far with Ipsy.

Ipsy is a monthly subscription of makeup and beauty products that are delivered right to your door (even in a cute little cosmetic bag). The products range from makeup to skincare to hair products! The monthly subscription costs $10.00 a month and is automatically billed to your account when the glam bag ships.

What I really love about Ipsy is that you get to try multiple high-end and drug store products each month and decide if you want to permanently add them to your beauty collection. They also give you a wide variety of products that way you are able to experiment with different types of products. There is a downside to this because you may not always get a product that you wear or use…I probably only wear eye liner 5 times a year, so having an eyeliner in my glam bag is something that I won’t get much use out of (but thank God I have about a bazillion friends who would love to try a new eyeliner). The good news is that you only spend $10 a month, so if you really don’t like a product you can toss it and try something else in your bag.

4. Avene Skincare: Makeup Cleanser
5. Vera Mona: Cosmetic Brush

My favorite product from the bag? Surprisingly, it was the makeup cleanser by Avene Skincare. I LOVED IT! It made my skin feel so fresh and took away the little texture bumps that I get along my chin line!
