Despite the post title, there are actually no Monday blues here 😉 I have to tell you, my day started off great because last night I was feeling HORRIBLE after eating my body weight in queso at Chuy’s restaurant. And I am not talking a full feeling that eventually passes… it didn’t pass. I was hurting ALL night long. And when I tell you that my boyfriend is the best, he truly is. I decided to go over to his house because I thought being around him would make me feel better. And while I definitely got some laughs in, I was still feeling so bloated and just ridiculously full [at this point you’re probably thinking I am lactose intolerant and you’re probably right, but that would be DETRIMENTAL to my life so we are going to keep pretending that I am not]. Anyways, I stayed over at his house even though the sick feeling never passed. And when I woke up [he has a big boy job and left by 7], I walked out into the kitchen to a bowl and spoon sitting beside my favorite cereal….. I know this is no grand gesture, but just the fact that he took the time to set all of this out was so sweet and it was the best thing to wake up to after feeling so horrible the entire night before.
Anyways, I told you that story because that is why I do not have the Monday blues today! I woke up feeling so blessed and so motivated to take on Monday! I went grocery shopping, painted my bathroom, and now I am here writing this post and planning my content for the next week!
This two-piece set was by far my favorite outfit that I packed to the beach! I am obsessed beyond measure with the color of the blue and I am dying over embroidery lately [wait until you see the skirt I have coming to the blog on Sunday…if you love embroidery you are going to LOVE it]. I love that this two-piece set doesn’t show skin in the belly area because I wanted something appropriate enough to wear to a nice restaurant but cute enough to still wear it out on the town!
I hope you love this look as much as I do and I cannot wait for the content I am bringing to the blog in the next two weeks! How are you curing the Monday Blue’s?
