My Hair Transformation

My experience with my stylist Taylor at Scott LeMaster salon is seriously one of the best hair experiences I’ve ever had. Not only did I color my hair professionally (and really in general) for the very first time, but I also got a little trim and an amazing style! I went with my good friend, Tay (allthingstaylored.com) to this appointment because she has loved and trusted her stylist Claire for awhile now, and I knew it was finally time to be bold and get my hair done professionally. My stylist Taylor and Tay’s stylist Claire are best friends and seriously made the appointment go from average to SUCH A BLAST! They were so much fun to talk with and they are definitely well versed in trendy hair. Taylor knew exactly what I wanted and made me feel comfortable about getting out of my comfort zone. My biggest worry was that I would hate my hair (obviously a huge worry for most women at the hair salon), but Taylor assured me that she would take good care of my locks 😉

Here are the photos I showed Taylor for the hair I was wanting. I also told her I wanted a low maintenance new “do” because I know myself and I am not the type to make it into the salon every 3 months, so I needed something that would fade out naturally.

 

When I showed her these photos, I also told her that I wanted her to have some creative freedom and obviously not fry my hair. I knew that it may not look exactly like those photos the very first time I got my hair done. I will definitely be back to see her and add more color in…because now I’m hooked hehe. Here is the before and after so you can see for yourself the WERK that went into this new style.

Seriously…what a transformation. Also- tell me why I didn’t even know my hair was straight up orange???? How did NO ONE tell me? I cringe looking at that before picture, and I am thankful Taylor was able to restore some peace on this head haha.
