I read something awhile ago that honestly changed the way I have lived these past few weeks.
“Love people so radically they wonder why”
That was Jesus speaking directly to me. Am I loving the people in my life so radically that they wonder where that love comes from? Do I sacrifice my own pride to build others up? Do I encourage people of all walks- those who are more successful and those who need an extra boost? All of these questions are questions that I have been asking myself on repeat. I really like to think that I am someone who loves others well. I love meeting new people and really getting into the depths of who they are and what they struggle with and what makes them happy. I like to know everything about everyone, and I really think that God designed me this way so that I can walk with the people who are in my life and not just by them. So that I can stand with them in times of success and kneel with them in times of sorrow. I pray that as I walk through life that I truly do love people in the most radical way and that I show my savior’s love through my words/actions to others.
I say this all the time on my Instagram stories, but one of my favorite things about being a blogger is connecting with others and getting to see their journey through life. I know that social media only gives me a glimpse into someone’s life, but I really feel that social media is a blessing when it comes to community. You can meet, mentor, encourage and love others from all over the world- and that’s something that wouldn’t be possible without the technology that’s available to us. While social media is an entirely different topic that we can maybe get into sometime on here- I want to tell you that if you’re needing an internet bff, I would love to be one to you. I love to connect with my readers in any way that you want to connect with me! I am an open book and will chat for hours about anything haha! So, please do not hesitate to reach out and say hey!
Whatever you do this week, do it in love. Love your family and friends well- but most importantly love strangers well. It’s what we’re called to do and who we are called to be. I LOVE you guys! I am thankful for you and I am praying for you this week!
